The word bonus causes more confusion in this category than any other term. In casino marketing it means promotional funds added to a deposit, while inside a game it means the feature round, and the two collide when a player asks support whether they can buy a bonus with their bonus. Descriptions of straight to bonus slot games refer strictly to the second sense, the in-game round, and have nothing to do with promotional credit. Keeping the two meanings apart avoids misreading both the game rules and the promotion terms.
